Just wrote this funny piece of code:

This actually *is* valid python, and it runs as intended.

My has new Laptop

OK, I got it over a month ago, I wanted something to show off with at the 25th Chaos Communication Congress ;) But it was not finished yet.

So I got myself a Thinkpad X60s for X-Mas. Very nice piece of Hardware, being a Thinkpad and as its Battery lasts over 6 hours - no need to say more.

But it had one major drawback: It came with a german Keyboard.
I dont like the german keyboard layout, I often hit the enter key by accident.

So I ordered a US replacement keyboard, which arrived yesterday.

After some weeks of running Vista64 and Ubuntu64, I decided to switch to my preferred distri: gentoo.

Should I be worried when I sign Mails with :wq or try to delete lines with d5j while editing a Mail in Sylpheed Claws?

Was much fun.

Had Gigabit uplink for 333 participants, well-oiled POC and NOC, interesting talks and workshops, lots of kewl ppl to meet, hackcenter, chillout-area, steaks and beer.

Even started a demonstration in impulse, advertised www.freiheit-statt-angst.de (freedom, not fear).
